As an ideal:r JvM account and business lead (m/f/d), you need saddle strength, an extensive understanding of customers, markets and brands, as well as the ability to drive forward targeted measures for the economic development of JvM START in order to further build Jung von Matt START.
You are responsible for customer approach, planning, coordination and control of all communicative and controlling activities and disciplines (internal + external). In addition to sound consulting and project management skills, you must have the following in order to be able to act as a competent interlocutor for our early-stage customers: a large portion of economic thinking, combined with finance & accounting, as well as a passion for young companies and the ability to offer them guidance. 

Your tasks

  • Management and leadership of START Accounting
  • Hands on project management, leadership & consulting
  • (Further) development of the START business strategy with the leadership team 
  • Handling of new leads and development of new business 
  • Control and optimization of processes, as well as projects to increase the outcome  
  • Implementation of marketing strategies and delegation of tasks to achieve strategic objectives
  • Planning and monitoring of all internal marketing and sales activities.
  • Maintaining strategic relationships with partners, investors and internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitoring performance and key figures, especially financial data

Your area of responsibility

  • Actively contributing to the development of the agency and shaping the START culture
  • Establishing the business structure and constantly monitoring profitability 
  • Management of START accounting
  • Overall project responsibility and management of our clients
  • Planning, coordination and control of ongoing customer projects
  • Management of the initiation processes
  • Control and overview of all running costs
  • Personnel responsibility for the accounting team and group-wide shared services
  • Development and optimization of ongoing projects and processes
  • Observation and evaluation of industry trends and active exchange with stakeholders from the startup scene 
  • Generating new leads, identifying and contacting decision makers, reviewing potential business opportunities, selecting deals in line with strategy

What you bring to the table 

  • Entrepreneurial expertise
  • Very good German and English language skills
  • Expertise in client guidance & consulting
  • Experience in brand building & branding
  • You are a master of the consultant's craft and are top fit in all communicative activities
  • Willingness to learn, network, and share knowledge 
  • Experience working on the agency side and collaborating with startups
  • You are familiar with agile processes & methods, such as Scrum, Kanban & Design Thinking
  • Logical-analytical understanding, critical thinking and organizational skills
  • Eloquence, intercultural understanding and strong negotiation skills
  • High resilience and self-motivation
  • Willingness to travel, attend conferences, meetings and industry events
  • Customer, market and brand knowledge - as well as active interest in news & topics from the startup world
  • Ability to design and present presentations independently
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management & tools (ex: Salesforce, Hubspot).
